- Description
- This Colorado Statehood Issue stamp commemorates the 75th anniversary of Colorado’s admission into statehood. The Territory of Colorado was organized following an influx in population due to the Pike’s Peak Gold Rush. The stamp features images of the Colorado Capitol Building, Mount of the Holy Cross and the bronze statue “Bronco Buster” by sculptor Alexander Phimister Proctor.
