- This A.A.A. Issue stamp commemorated the 50th anniversary of the formation of the American Automobile Association. The organization was created to promote highway and road improvement for automobiles, safety and provide services for club members, including insurance, emergency aid and travel information. The stamp features an image of the organization logo, automobiles from 1902 and 1952 and a safety patrolman helping two young schoolgirls.
