- Description
- The 15-cent Letter Writing regular stamps were first placed on sale at Washington, DC, on February 25, 1980. The three-pair set of postage stamps, focusing on the importance of letter writing, were issued during National Letter Writing Week.
- USPS Graphics and Design Division, with Randall McDougall executing the finished work, developed the design concept. The stamps were issued in sheets of sixty.
