- Canvas airmail sack with two blue stripes; size 3; metal grommets; at top with leather and metal buckle for lock; metal label case on front in lower left corner engraved with "US MAIL" Approximate (according to original label) date is 1927; listed 2/16/37; however, sacks with central blue strip edenotes pre-1920; on back, in red writing is "Para Avion/US/Air Mail" with red arrow pointing up through the writing. Attached tag "Sample of U.S. Air Mail pouch #3 / Par avion U.S. Air Mail / Approx. Date 1927 / Listed 2/16/37
