- Description
- The Postal Service issued its 29-cent Fishing Flies stamps on May 31, 1991 in Cuddebackville, New York. Each of the five stamp designs features a classic fishing fly pictured against an outdoor scene. The fishing flies depicted include Royal Wulff, Jock Scott, Apte Tarpon Fly, Lefty's Deceiver, and Muddler Minnow.
- Designed by Chuck Ripper, the stamps were printed in the photogravure process by the American Bank Note Company, and issued in panes of twenty.
