- Ten 29¢ Space Exploration Commemorative Stamps
- The Postal Service issued the 29-cent Space Exploration commemorative stamps October 1, 1991, in Pasadena, CA. The ten stamps feature the nine planets and the Earth's Moon, along with the unmanned spacecraft that had visited each (with the exception of Pluto). The stamp's issuance kicked off National Stamp Collecting Month.
- The designer of the stamps was Ron Miller, of Fredericksburg, VA. Art director and typographer was Howard Paine, Design Coordinator, Citizens' Stamp Advisory Committee. Postal Service manager was Jack Williams, Program Manager, Philatelic Design. They were printed in the gravure process at the Bureau of Printing and Engraving, and were
