- Description
- Brass, six lever, push key lock manufactured by the Mail Equipment Shops in Washington, D. C. The case front was stamped "STREET LETTER BOX LOCK, UNITED STATES, MV" by the manufacturer. The MV stands for Motor Vehicle. Locks marked METRO, or with numbers, were used on street letter-boxes.
