- U.S. Post Office Department Special Delivery Service cap badge, number 2, with screw post attachment on verso. Spread eagle surmounts medallion with raised crest marked "U.S. MAIL / SPECIAL DELIVERY." Numerical figure positioned below crest in japanned raised block letters.
- The badge shown is from a New York City post office. Designed for an individual carrier, it was never issued by the Post Office Department.
