- Description
- The Postal Service commemorated five Great Lakes lighthouses with the issuance of a booklet of 20 32-cent stamps in five designs, on June 17, 1995 in Cheboygan, Michigan.
- Designed by Howard Koslow of Toms River, New Jersey, the stamps feature the Split Rock, Lake Superior; St. Joseph, Lake Michigan; Spectacle Reef, Lake Huron; Marblehead, Lake Erie; and Thirty Mile Point, Lake Ontario lighthouses. Mr. Koslow also designed the Lighthouses stamps that were issued in 1990.
- Stamp Venturers, Inc. produced the stamps in the gravue process.
