The Children Sledding peel-and-stick ATM stamps were printed by Avery-Dennison in the gravure process. - A 32-cent Madonna and Child commemorative stamp was issued on October 19, 1995, in Washington, DC. The stamp was issued in a pane of fifty and a booklet of twenty. Designed by Richard D. Sheaff, of Boston, Massachusetts, the stamp features Florentine artist Giotto di Bondone's "Madonna and Child," which dates to the early fourteenth century. The painting, which is part of the Samuel H. Kress Collection in the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, was created on wood as the central part of a five-section altarpiece.
