- Description
- The 10.75-dollar Endeavour Space Shuttle Express Mail stamp was issued on August 4, 1995 in Irvine, California.
- The stamp exhibits the flawless liftoff of the Endeavour Space Shuttle, Mission STS-57, which took place on June 21, 1993, from Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The stamp was designed by Phil Jordan of Falls Church, Virginia. As an added security feature, elliptical perforations were used to prevent counterfeiting. The stamps were manufactured by Ashton-Potter (USA) Ltd. in the offset/intaglio process.
