- The Postal Service issued a 32-cent Klondike Gold Rush commemorative stamp on August 21, 1998, in Nome and Skagway, Alaska.
- The stamps, designed by Howard Paine of Delaplane, Virginia, and illustrated by John Berkey of Excelsior, Minnesota, were printed by Ashton Potter (USA), Ltd., in the offset process.
