- A cartoon devil with pitchfork resembles caricatures of the Japanese in vogue at the time. United States one-cent Scott 899 and two-cent Scott 907 have been canceled by the boxed slogan Buy War Savings Bonds and Stamps. This cachet cover with cornercard by the cachet publisher, Robert Haynes, was postmarked from Toledo, Ohio, October 11, 1943.
