- "Button Your Lip! Loose Talk Can Cost Lives!"
- Women and children are admonished to be mindful of what they repeat. The buttons for mouths are an effective visual symbol in this cachet.
- This cover was postmarked U. S. Navy, October 29, 1944, and passed the Naval censor to be sent via air mail to Buffalo, New York. USA Scott 899 and Scott 810 were used to pay the six-cent postage fee. A handstamp on the back flap says:

- The patriotic cachet was produced by the Oregon Hobby Club of Salem. It is the only patriotic that can be attributed to this group.
