- Addressed to George W. Linn, a well-known philatelist, this cover carries a simple, one-color cachet of an eagle clutching a rifle. One U.S. stamp, Scott 905, is affixed to this cover postmarked Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, December 19, 1942. The cachet publisher is the House of Farnum, Cleveland, Ohio; see the HF on the rifle stock.
