- This is a photograph of the Cincinnati, Ohio waterfront with steamboats Car of Commerce, the Embassy and Genl. Worth in the forefront. The Embassy ran the Pittsburgh to St. Louis mail. The Car of Commerce was 294-ton boat built in 1848.
