- Description
- The diagonal-cut bisect of the 1847 10-cent black postage stamp (upper right half) was used on this June 3, 1851 folded letter from Mineral Point to Madison, Wisconsin, to pay the 5-cent postage. The cover has been cancelled with a blue grid and a corresponding blue handstamped "Paid".
