- Description
- The Postal Service issued a 39-cent Purple Heart definitive stamp in a pressure-sensitive adhesive pane of 20 on May 26, 2006 in Washington, DC. The stamp was designed by Carl T. Herrman of Carlsbad, California. It was reissued on August 7, 2007.
- Fifty million stamps were printed in the offset process by Ashton-Potter (USA) Ltd. With microprint "USPS."
