- Description
- The Postal Service issued a 39-cent Kwanzaa special stamp on October 6, 2006, in New York, New York during the Mega Stamp Show. The stamp was design by Derry Noyes of Washington, DC, and was previously issued with a 37-cent denomination in 2004.
- Ashton-Potter (USA), Ltd., printed the 40 million stamps in the offset/microprint "USPS" process.
