Equus grevyi (Grevy's Zebra)
Object Details
- Luce Center Label
- The Exotic Mammal Pelt Spheres were made using the Swedish Graal process. A photograph of the flat animal pelt is manipulated and transferred to the glass so the image can be sandblasted onto the surface. The marbles are sized in proportion to the size of each animal and the opposing poles of the design correspond to the neck and tail of the pelt.
