- Consists of scrapbooks compiled by A.S. Hitchcock. Materials include journal articles, reprints, and newspaper clippings regarding plants in general; accounts of Hitchcock's explorations; speeches; and articles by Hitchcock. Records predating 1912 were created by Hitchcock as Principal Biologist in charge of Systematic Agrostology, United States Department of Agriculture.
