Summary: This accession consists of the "America's Family Album" website as it existed on August 18, 2015. The website allowed the public to upload vintage and modern family snapshots of the Smithsonian Institution for possible use in a future exhibit. The images were also made available for browsing on the website. Contributors were eligible to participate in a random drawing for a voyage with Smithsonian Journeys. The website began accepting submissions in May 2013 and stopped in April 2014. Submissions made after September 3, 2013, were not eligible for the drawing. Due to technical difficulties, some portions of this crawl may not function properly. Materials are in electronic format.
