- This accession consists of photographs documenting the Rock Creek flood of 1972 and its effect on the National Zoological Park and the surrounding park. The prints were compiled by the Office of Exhibits and divided into topical sections. The photographs may have been used as justification in an attempt to secure funding for flood protection. Materials also include a small amount of documentation.
