- Summary
- A figure of a Union soldier standing and holding a flag in both hands at his proper left side. Both legs are straight, with his proper right foot slightly forward. He wears a military uniform which includes a thigh-length jacket and a cap. The soldier stands atop a tall rectangular shaft on an octaganal base with five steps.
