- Summary
- Three allegorical figures seated on a bench. The central male figure of Labor is seated and holds a sledge hammer in his proper right hand and rests his proper left arm on an anvil. Flanking Labor, to his proper left, is a female figure representing the Arts, holding a lyre; and, to his proper right, a draped and hooded figure of Science, holding a round globe.
