- Summary
- Bas-relief panel in triptych arrangement above front doors to school building. The left side depicts a female teacher wearing a dress with round collar and buttoned bodice, pointing at a globe with her proper left hand. A young boy stands to her proper left. The center relief depicts four children, three girls and one boy, waiting to cross the street. A male student crossing guard stands in front of the group with arms extended to hold the children back. The right side depicts a boy at bat facing a girl pitcher. Both are poised for play. In all reliefs, the girls wear dresses and the boys wear shorts and shirts.
