- Summary
- Three campo vases decorated with identical Gothic patterns and supported by four chimera are sited throughout Paddock Gardens. Depicted on the vases are Grecian and medieval bas-relief scenes, including a hunting scene with males and females on horseback against a stylized forest, with a rider blowing a horn with a dog beside it. A figure has a spear pointed at a boar, and another figure with a sword stabs a running stag with two hounds at its side. Also depicted on the vases are castles, male and female nudes and semi-nudes, a female lute player, a toilet scene, and a sea scene. The vases are used as planters.
