Summary: Full-length figure of a uniformed Union soldier stands at parade rest atop a tall column, pedestal and tiered base. The figure wears a cap and long coat and holds his rifle in front of him with both hands around the barrel and the butt near his proper right foot. Decorative relief elements on the base cap include crossed rifles, crossed sabers, crossed cannons, an anchor and rope emblem, draped flags, a knapsack and a Grand Army of the Republic emblem.
