- Summary
- Portrait of the three Lincoln sisters seated side by side in an interior, their bodies facing front and their gazes directed at the viewer. The sister on the left holds an apple in her lap with her right hand, and at her feet there is a basket of apples and a small puppy. The sister in the middle holds a rose in her raised left hand and a pencil in her right hand. The sister on the right holds an open book in her lap. Beneath their feet is a patterned carpet and in the background there is drapery on the left.
