Covent Garden, London; stamp on verso of t.p.'s: Smithsonian Institution National Museum Jul. 22 1913; accession no. 227839 (for both v.).
SCNHRB c. 1 has blue buckram library binding with gilt-lettered spine.
SCNHRB c. 2 (39088010380251; 39088010380392) has penciled autograph of F.V. Hayden on t.p. of v. 1; stamp on t.p.'s: Bureau of Ethnology Library 1894; accession nos. 3861-3862.
SCNHRB c. 2 has stamp on p. [2] (2nd group) of v. 1: withdrawn Smithsonian Institution Libraries [later reinstated].
SCNHRB c. 2 has green buckram library binding with gilt-lettered spine; the large folded maps on brittle paper are in poor condition.
