Summary
Contains updated, digitized contours of the 1984 version of GEBCO, comprising eighteen charts and a world summary chart, including new charts for the southern Indian Ocean, Weddell Sea, and northeast Atlantic off the British Isles; coastlines from the US Defense Mapping Agency's World Vector Shoreline; a computerized Gazetteer of the geographic names of undersea features; the digitized bathymetric chart of the Mediterranean carried out as an IOC Regional Ocean Mapping Project; and a trackline inventory of the IHO Data Centre for Digital Bathymetry's echo-sounding data. Includes sofware for selecting, interrogating, visualizing, overlaying, and exporting data from the Atlas.
