Sneak preview 👀 of a short film by Conservation Nation — launching on April 20th! 🎬 The film was made by Dr. Gabby Salazar, a conservation photographer and an environmental social scientist who has traveled the world documenting a wide range of subjects—from volcanoes in Guatemala to lion conservation in Zimbabwe and more. In 2021, Gabby was recognized as the Emerging Photographer of the Year by the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA). A past president of NANPA, she is also an Associate Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers (iLCP). Marlyn Zuluaga Egas, the assistant on the project, is a doctoral student in the Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Department of the University of Florida, sponsored by a Fulbright Scholarship. Her interests are focused on the conservation, ecology, and movement of wetland bird species in tropical ecosystems. Over the past four years, she has been involved in research and conservation projects with local environmental agencies in her home country, Colombia.
