In this segment, Norma Gourneau speaks on "Sand Creek through My Great Grandmother's Memories." Norma Gourneau is a member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe, Lame Deer, Montana, and former Vice President of the Tribe. She is a member of the Northern Cheyenne Sand Creek Massacre Descendants organization and the Sand Creek Massacre Site Project Committee. The symposium was recorded and webcast in the Rasmuson Theater of the National Museum of the American Indian on October 9, 2014.
