Philanthropist, businesswoman, conservationist, lifelong collector, and hunter, Jeanette C. Rudy of Nashville, Tennessee is also a longtime Smithsonian National Postal Museum benefactor. Rudy’s duck stamp collection, which took more than 50 years to assemble, is widely considered to be the finest private collection of its type. Thanks to her foresight and generosity, displays at the museum have offered visitors the opportunity to view the unique and often extremely rare items from her collection.
