Send your child’s curiosity to new heights and deliver exciting fun this summer with the National Postal Museum’s free virtual STAMP Camp!

Embark on an exciting journey into the realm of STEAM: science, technology, engineering, art, and math, from the comfort of home.

By registering for STAMP Camp with the National Postal Museum, you will receive five free STEAM and postal themed activities throughout June, July and August, to complete at your own pace with the young learner in your life.

Designed to inspire young minds, each activity is packed with museum objects, hands-on activities, and engaging challenges- including Katie’s Challenge! A weekly extension created exclusively for STAMP Camp by Katie Kirk, the National Postal Museum’s 2024 Guest Artist.

This program is best for learners ages 6 and up and is recommended for ages 6-12, with adult support. Registration must be completed on behalf of the young learner by an adult guardian.

Science, Week 1, Wednesday, June 26, 2024

Learn about letter writing culture and dive into the science of how paper is made through an exploration of museum objects and a hands-on activity where you will make your own paper from recycled materials at home!

Technology, Week 2, Wednesday, July 10, 2024

Harness the power of technology as we explore how the Postal Service has adapted new technologies throughout time to deliver the mail efficiently and effectively. Then, try your hand at building your own green energy mail truck.

Art, Week 3, Wednesday, July 24, 2024

Unleash your creativity through an investigation into stamp art and graphic design techniques before creating your very own stamp art using the same materials as professional stamp artists!

Math, Week 4, Wednesday, August 7, 2024

What do mail sorting, Zip Codes, stamps, and mail delivery all have in common? Postal mathematics, of course! Explore these topics and more while you master the art of postal math before writing a mathematical poem inspired by your community.

Problem Solving and Engineering, August 21, 2024

Problem solve and engineer your way through an inquiry into how the Postal Service has delivered all different types of objects through the mail! Then, practice your problem-solving skills by engineering your own package design that can protect a single potato chip in the mail!
