First Day On the Job
The toughest part about the job was learning the language. The Post Office has a unique language. The first night I was on the job they told me to go sweep the mail and I said, ‘ok, where’s the broom?’ Well, sweeping the mail is obviously pulling the mail from the back of the cases, but I didn’t know that, I didn’t know the postal language.
