- A mantelpiece is flanked by two closed folding doors. A combination time piece and candle bracket stands on the mantel. A girl and a child are seated beside the dial. Written with ink, bottom framing: "GLT" at left. "Sallon" center; "Compose et dessine par Gustave Taraval architecte/ Inspecteur des Batimens du Roy."
