- Description
- Landscape and architecture sketch showing a view overlooking rooftops in Rome at sunset. In the foreground, nearby buildings are loosely rendered in shades of brown and grey. In the middle distance, city buildings extend indistinctly to the distant horizon, below which the sun has just set. The sun's light renders the horizon a fiery yellow and the clouds above rich tones of red, orange, and purple.
