- Plastic display model of a Douglas DC-8-62 airliner in Braniff livery of white base color on bottom of fuselage, wings, both sides of horizontal stablizer and all of the engine nacelles; yellow, red, dark and light blue artwork on top and sides of fuselage, engine nacelles, vertical and horizontal tails, and wings. 1:50 scale. Circa 1973.

- Douglas DC-8
- The first three series of DC-8s were powered by Pratt & Whitney JT3C or JT4A turbojets. More efficient JT3D turbofans powered the Series 50 and 60. Over 100 aircraft were re-engined in the 1980s as DC-8-70s with highly efficient CFM56 high-bypass turbofan engines.
