- Owney received this tag during his travels. One side of the tag includes the notation “1H” and the date “1893.” The other side has faintly legible scratches of names, “Jas Stone” and “Guy D. May” or “Guy D. Way.” There is no additional information to indicate the men’s connection to Owney or the post office.
