- Description
- Souvenir postcard carried by the airmail plane "Gelber Hund" and posted in Darmstadt on June 18, 1922. In addition to the 5 pfennig Germania stamp (inland postcard rate), the card bears two special semi-official airmail stamps overprinted "1 Mark" and "Gelber Hund" (Michel IV) issued for these airmail demonstrations. The stamps are tied by the special "Flugpost am Rhein u. am Main Darmstadt" postmark.
