- Postcard flown by airship Schwaben (LZ10) on November 15, 1911, and dropped over Potsdam. Violet airship postmark "On board the zeppelin airship Schwaben" dated November 15, 1911, and Potsdam postmark with same date on 5 Pfennig Germania stamp (inland postcard rate). One of dozens of flights flown by the Schwaben in 1911 on which passengers were given the opportunity to write souvenir picture postcards, which were then dropped over various locations. The message on this card reads "Luftiger Gruss, Carl," which translates to "'Airy' greetings, Carl."
