Graf Zeppelin Germany Flight post card
Object Details
- Description
- In September 1929 the LZ127 Graf Zeppelin made two flights over Germany, dropping mail in many cities. Only thirty items were dropped over Bückeburg on the first of these flights. This card was addressed to Hermann Sieger, the same dealer known for editing the first Sieger Zeppelin Post Katalog. Sieger probably made the private oval blue cachet. The 20 pfg Flugpost Rhein und Main adhesive had no philatelic or postal purpose on this flight.
