- Description
- Cover carried by the airship Graf Zeppelin on its October 15-17 Balkan flight in 1929. A RM1 German airmail stamp has been tied by an onboard postmark dated October 16, 1929. The front also bears a red confirmation postmark "Mit Luftschiff Graf Zeppelin befördert" ("Carried by airship Graf Zeppelin") as well as a blue "Mit Luftpost Par Avion" etiquette. The cover was dropped over Bucharest, Romania, where it received a red arrival postmark "BUCHARESTI 16OCT1929 PAR AVION."
