- Design of the stamp is taken from one of the panels of the bronze doors in the Capitol Building. The doors were designed by Randolph Rogers. The design is entitled "Columbus Welcomed at Barcelona". Printed in sheets of 100, cut into panes of 50 for distribution. A few sheets of 100 remain intact today, as well as panes of 50. Quantity issued: 4,707,550.
