- The District of Columbia automatically sent mail-in ballots to all 518,000 active registered voters in the 2020 general election. A government audit later revealed that more than 11% of the ballots sent out were returned undeliverable, most of them in Wards 2 and 8. This ballot was sent to a voter in Ward 1, which includes the neighborhoods of Adams Morgan, Columbia Heights, Pleasant Plains, and LeDroit Park.
