Históricamente, las áreas de recolección del museo sobre este tema se han centrado en eventos decisivos, como la Guerra Civil, la Segunda Guerra Mundial y la pandemia de Covid-19, períodos en los que se produjo un aumento en el volumen de correo electoral en los Estados Unidos.
